Welcome to AABGU’s Greater Texas Region! It has been my honor to be the director of this region since 2000. Headquartered in Houston, we cover all of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
This region’s lay leaders, board members and donors have been instrumental in supporting key BGU initiatives, including the Marcus Family Campus, the Faculties of Natural Sciences and Health Sciences, the Kidumatica Math Program, the state-of-the-art MRI at BGU’s Brain Imaging Center, the Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research, the American Associates Village at Sede Boqer, and more.
Also, don’t miss our Annual Kosher Dining Extravaganza – a longtime local tradition honoring leaders of the Houston community and Israel, prepared by Houston’s top chefs.
Come on down and join in the excitement! Invest your time as an AABGU lay leader and be part of Israel’s Negev.
Sincerely,
Deborah Bergeron
Regional Director
