Holly Nelson was this region’s representative to the Zin Fellows Leadership Program in Cohort II, 2013 to 2015. This Americans for Ben-Gurion University initiative is creating a community of leaders under age 50 who are committed to helping further David Ben-Gurion’s vision for Israel’s Negev region. Founding co-chairs and major benefactors of Zin are chapter officers Lisa Scheller and Wayne Woodman. Holly is currently president of Women’s Philanthropy, Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, and holds leadership positions at the Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy and the Perelman Jewish Day School. She and her husband, Norm, are members of Americans for Ben-Gurion University’s Philadelphia Chapter board of directors and the Negev Forum leadership team. Holly was elected to serve on Americans for Ben-Gurion University’s national board of directors in 2015.
