Prof. Eilon Adar, who served as Israel’s leading water consultant in the 1994 peace treaty with Jordan, is now taking a lead role in sharing Israeli water management expertise with California’s top water specialists in light of the current drought. On this third trip to the Bay Area and Sacramento, Prof. Adar is continuing his dialogue with California’s top water experts and policymakers. He conducts cutting-edge research on groundwater flow systems and arid basins. He has represented Israel around the world, speaking on water-related issues, has published numerous papers and takes an active role in helping start-up businesses use innovative water technologies developed at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
