In the depths of the Ben-Gurion Archives at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, six hours of an interview soundtrack was discovered of one of modern history’s greatest leaders—David Ben-Gurion. It was matched with a filmmaker who had the footage and was looking to recreate the interview. It is 1968, and he is 82 years old, five years before his death. This 70-minute documentary brings to life Ben-Gurion’s introspective soul searching that provides a surprising vision for today’s crucial decisions and the future of Israel.
