Prof. Fred A. Lazin is the Lynn and Lloyd Hurst Family Professor (Emeritus) of Government and is a former chair of the Department of Politics and Government at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. An award winning author, Prof. Lazin has taught at American University, Cornell, CUNY, GWU, NYU, Tufts and UCLA. He has authored over sixty scholarly articles and chapters in books, and has written and edited ten books dealing with public policy in the United States, Israel and developing countries, Israeli politics and society, and Jews in American politics.
