50th Board of Governors

BGU will be holding a virtual mini-BOG meeting on Sunday, May 17 from 4:oo p.m. to  7:00 p.m. Israel time. Further details will be shared after Passover.​

Anyone who registered for the Oxford pre-BOG trip will receive a refund. If you registered for the May Board of Governors and cannot come in October, you will receive a refund.

While the following events were originally scheduled for the May meeting, the new schedule is not yet confirmed.

  • Attend a gala evening kick-off celebrating 50 years of pioneering greatness with Israel’s President Reuven Rivlin and Beer-Sheva’s Mayor

  • Enjoy a discussion with “Fauda” co-creator and BGU alumnus, Avi Issacharoff.
  • Watch the future North Campus come to life with a spectacular on-site light and sound show.
  • Be inspired by a presentation of an honorary doctorate to and titillating lecture from Dr. Ruth K. Westheimer.
  • Mingle with brilliant young innovators at the SilicoNegev Entrepreneurship Festival and Startup Competition.
  • Participate in inspiring student exchanges and fascinating lectures.
