BGU Is Among the World’s Top 50 Tech Universities

Great Value Colleges — BGU was recently named one of the 50 most technologically advanced universities in the world by Great Value Colleges. Other notable universities on the list include the California Institute of Technology, Cornell University, Stanford University, Princeton University and Oxford University.

BGU OverviewAmong the criteria of the schools ranked included having 10,000 square feet or more of laboratory or research space, availability of research opportunities to undergraduate students, Nobel laureates on campus or among alumni, and tech features beyond those of traditional universities.

BGU was ranked the 39th most advanced university in the world.

According to Great Value Colleges, BGU is one of the most important centers in the Middle East for teaching and research. The University is a major collaborative partner of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition to a 15-week summer exchange program for students from both campuses, the two schools have now implemented a joint seed fund to encourage research collaboration.

BGU is home to more than eight research institutes and centers, including the Ilse Katz Institute for Nanoscale Science and Technology, the Blechner Center for Industrial Catalysis and Process Development, and the Edmond J. Safra Center for the Design and Engineering of Functional Biopolymers.
