Dr. Ilan Shelef is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Concurrently, he serves as head of the Diagnostic Imaging Institute at Beer-Sheva’s Soroka University Medical Center. Dr. Shelef has established the first magnetic resonance imaging and brain imaging laboratory in the Negev as a partnership between BGU and Soroka, in order to clinically serve the region’s population as well as BGU researchers. Dr. Shelef is a graduate of BGU’s Joyce and Irving Goldman Medical School.
