Dr. Natan Aridan is a specialist in Israel-Diaspora relations as well as historic diplomatic relations between Israel and English-speaking countries. As a recipient of the 2012-2014 Israel Science Foundation Grant, Dr. Aridan is currently writing a book on the dilemmas and critical decisions of Israel’s diplomats and Diaspora Jewry in lobbying support for the State of Israel between 1948 and 1973. Dr. Aridan serves as editor of the distinguished journal Israel Studies, co-sponsored with The Schusterman Center for Israel Studies at Brandeis University and published by Indiana University Press. Having lived in Israel for the past 30 years, he made aliyah from the U.K. as a young adult.
